Ever wonder how sailors and pirates navigate the vast, open sea? What did they do before GPS and digital clocks to know where they were and what time it was? How do they make sure their boats and ships keep afloat? This camp is all about learning how we navigate the ocean and all of the science that goes into it, from understanding buoyancy and hydrodynamics to design water transportation appropriately to using the sun, stars, maps and compasses to help lead the way to land….and possibly some buried treasure!
