At Science Guys of San Antonio, we create interactive learning environments that connect scientific discovery with real-world thinking. Our programs empower children to question, experiment, and innovate — equipping them with the curiosity and confidence to thrive in a complex, ever-changing world.
We offer fun, hands-on science programs including science camps, parties, clubs, workshops, booths, and special event shows throughout the San Antonio area! Our motto is: We make Science Fun, Cool, and Easy for kids of all ages and abilities!
Meet The Science Guys!
Kristin Moore, AKA Professor Gneiss
“Professor Gneiss” grew up in New York. She has her Master's in Early Childhood and Special Education and has taught for over 12 years. In 2015 she moved to Nashville, TN where she taught 2nd grade Science and moved into a Special Education role. She met Mr. Bond's Science Guys and has been a part of the Science Guys Team since 2017. She loves creating smiles with hands-on fun for kids of varying ages and abilities.
In 2023 she and her husband moved to San Antonio where she taught special education for a year while starting the Science Guys of San Antonio. Her Texas teaching license information can be found below.
“Professor Proton” was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to Nashville, TN in 2011. He worked in healthcare for 20 years until the Spring of 2022. He is currently in the process of attaining his pilot's license, working full-time in retail AND managing Science Guys of San Antonio! He was first introduced to the Science Guys in 2018 by his wife, Kristin. In the Summer of 2022 he worked exclusively with the Science Guys of Nashville and the rest is history!
He, Kristin and Jimmy moved to San Antonio in the summer of 2023 to be closer to his parents and two sisters. Since, they have adopted two more rescue dogs, Louie and Wiley.
Jared Moore, AKA Professor Proton
We are huge dog lovers and rescued 3 brindle mixed breeds - Louie, Jimmy and Wiley.
